American lines and show lines typically don't have fight drive.....if he really was running at the dog screaming, with a whip, he'd back down most likely. The majority of show lines or American lines I see back down from real threats and retreat. They also don't always seem to be as high in drive, and they could have worked on his grip in this vids.
