lol you go ahead and believe that, i’d love to see you walk into the house of any of these dog’s home. they wouldn’t just be barkin at you. You forget these dogs are trainer to listen to their owner but if the owners not around the dog feels it place to make decisions and one of them is to guard the house. And these dogs would pose much more of a threat than some old backyard pitbull. They’d rip you a new one and maybe even more w/o an owner to tell them to stop!

The dog won’t attack its family that’s its pack, and a schultzund trained dog see’s you as the leader so it very obedient. These dog are socialized, which mean they get along with ppl and other dogs, but its when you give that magic word that the dog goes into attack mode. You’d actually have more control over this type of dog. Althought the only danger is the word, and if you train them wrong. SO take it to the professional.

Yea, I hear you on that one. That’s y I love my doberman. My friend’s doberman protected her from sum creep at the park who got a little closer than he should of. All the dog had to do was growled and the man backed off, and her dog was only 6 months old. I’d highly suggest a doberman, just make sure you get the ears done so it has that intimatidating look. ANd they don’t shed like a shepherd, plus doberman will protect u even w/o training. And their very affection toward their family.

do you have to train them from youth?is there a place where i can go to make my dog guard the yard and me,hes very lazy and not guard dog materiel.also his breed was not bred to guard(he is a staffy) but he is very musculer and strong and i wanna make him guard the yard so i dont have to buy another dog and waste money.the area i live in have lots of druggies, bad people ect

The second and third handler’s where using reward words abit too often and abit too early, and using command words too many times, overall it was good.

As always, these guys show how training using systematic and real life scenarios creates a well controlled and happy dog. A far cry from the time bombs that were used back in the old days. I only train hunting dogs, but the methods used are similar, without the protection phase. Training dogs is all about communication, they have to know what you want, most of the time they want to please. Using fair corrections when needed and being consitent are just two of the important factors. Great Job
